In the fall 2015, DONG Energy Wind Power A/S intends to publish a notice for prequalification regarding the contract described in section II: Object of the contract, via the Sellihca Qualification System (http://www.achilles.com).

The intention of this periodic indicative notice is to encourage suppliers, with a potential interest in the contract, to register in the Sellihca Qualification System, category 1.34.22 — Telecommunication Transmission Equipment and Accessories (incl. Microwave, Antennaes etc.) AND category 3.2.12 — Fibre Cable Systems. It is important to register in both categories, in order to be invited to participate in the prequalification process. DONG Energy Wind Power A/S intends to invite suppliers, registered in both these categories in Sellihca, to apply for prequalification for the described contract. Registration in categories 1.34.22 AND 3.2.12 must be completed on 15 August 2015 in order to be invited to participate in the prequalification process.

The conditions for being prequalified will appear from the notice for prequalification. However, DONG Energy Wind Power A/S reserves the right to include minimum requirements regarding economic and financial capacity and technical and professional ability as well as regarding quality management system, health, safety and environmental systems.

DONG Energy Wind Power A/S intends to be tendering for DONG Energy Borkum Riffgrund II GmbH for the supply of design, fabrication, delivery, installation, tests, commissioning and documentation of a Network and communication package. Borkum Riffgrund 2 with an awarded grid capacity of 450 MW is located in the North Sea, approximately 57 km off the north-west coast of Germany.
 The scope of supply for the Network and telecommunication package is currently expected to include the design, manufacture and commission of:
 — Backbone network and optical fibre panels,
 — TETRA radio system,
 — Microwave line of sight system,
 — IP phone system,
 — VHF systems, AM and FM, and
 — Traffic systems, AIS and ADS-B.
 Included in the contract is also currently expected to be activities at the site of the offshore substation manufacturing contractor:
 — Supervision,
 — Delivery and installation of patch cables, and
 — Fibre splice work.
 Offshore activities are expected to be included as part of the commissioning work.
 The final scope of supply will be stated in the tender material.
