New requirements to the hearing-aid business have led to a significant growth for the Dencker A/S, a Danish company working in close collaboration with the ZEISS Quality Excellence Center. Dencker is specialised within high-technology plastic articles for e.g. the medical industry. The company has approximately 60 employees, and some of the weighty players within the Danish business sector, such as for instance Demant, Grundfos, Coloplast and Chr. Hansen, are among Dencker’s customers. 

- The development is moving our way, and we have the best conditions ever. We steered through the Corona situation, and I have to say that the classic standards about meeting agreements on quality and delivery times are increasingly better sales arguments, says Dencker’s founder and CEO, Anders Dencker.

Demands on quality and compliance with agreed delivery times have been contributory to the establishment of a close collaboration with ZEISS Quality Excellence Center. ZEISS performs scanning assignments, digitalisation and reporting for Dencker.

- ZEISS contributes with the scanning of very small plastic articles, representing important requirements with respect to tolerance and geometry. We do not have a scanner of our own, whereas ZEISS has three, and they are thus very flexible and capable of delivering from one day to the next, if need be, says Dencker measurement technician, René Jensen. According to René Jensen, ZEISS’ quality always meets the high demands required by Dencker’s customers.

Other than quality and reliability, personal relations should not be neglected.

- We are on the same wavelength, and this is also an important aspect. Our collaborative relationship is excellent, which is something we are very pleased with, René Jensen concludes.
