The new C1109D from Intematix rated at 480mA drive current, achieves 490lm in cool white and 440lm in warm white, both at standard CRI, while the high CRI(>80) LED achieves 390lm in cool white and 340lm in warm white. The corresponding efficacies are 100, 90, 80 and 70 lm/W, respectively, which have not been possible up to this point in the industry in a 5 Watt LED package. The new product is available at distributor Rutronik now.

Such light outputs and efficacies from a single LED will facilitate wider adoption of LEDs in indoor and outdoor area lighting such as street and roadway, parking garage, gas station canopy and warehouse lighting. As with other Intematix patented chip-array-on-ceramic LEDs, the C1109 utilizes Intematix strengths in phosphor blending and special deposition to create very tight color binning, excellent color quality, and robust thermal management.
