In Denmark, we employ approximately 2,200 employees shared among three locations: Copenhagen, Frederikshavn and Holeby. The SCM organization’s primary task is to secure full focus on the entire supply chain, and to strengthen the function we are looking for a Functional Team Coordinator, who can support the department’s operational performance while also keeping a tactical overview of the general workload to safeguard the department’s well-being. Official workplace is the Copenhagen office with option to work from the office in Frederikshavn as well as from your home office. What am I going to do?
As Functional Team Coordinator, you will get an interesting career in an international and market leading company where you will become part of a team with a broad interface, both internally and externally.

Your tasks are:

  • Assisting with ongoing training and development of team members
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, including minutes, action items, follow up items, and follow up dates
  • Managing employee performance with regular feedback
  • Providing support to Head of Department, including drafting ideas and initiatives, researching data, and ad hoc assignments
  • Serving as an intermediary between Sales and Material Management, answering questions from internal stakeholders
  • Travel activity to a limited degree

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a strong communicator, who can relay information from managerial or executive level so you are expected to do this clearly and concisely. Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate who is able to plan and organize his/her daily tasks with clear prioritization according to the current agenda within the department. Problem-solving and time management are key aspects of this role and you are expected to master both. Therefore, you should be able to communicate clearly whenever these 2 responsibilities are out of sync as we work in a fast paced and deadline oriented work environment.

The ideal candidate has:

  • In-depth knowledge of MRP planning and preferably knowledge of SAP R/3
  • Motivated by a challenging environment that requires quick and solution oriented action
  • Drive, perseverance and the ability to see the big picture
  • Methodical and quality oriented approach to the job
  • Proficiency in Danish and English

You will be positioned in a fast paced environment where it is expected that you can prioritize your time between external and internal stakeholders. Having a constant overview of your area of responsibility is key to succeeding. The role of the Functional Team Coordinator is challenging. Navigating between the operational and managerial priorities of the business is what makes the job exciting. No two days are alike. Although a busy multi-faceted role, we also make sure to prioritize  time for social activities and you will quickly become a part of a very diverse and exciting team within MAN ES.
