The Contracting Authority puts out to tender one (1) High-Resolution Time-Of-Flight Aerosol Mass Spectrometer (henceforth referred to as ‘AMS’).
The Contracting Authority require an AMS system for the on-line measurement of aerosol mass loading, size distribution and chemical analysis of ambient and laboratory-generated aerosol. The system will be employed in the new smog chamber facility at Department of Chemistry at Aarhus University and will furthermore be engaged in outdoor field campaigns as part of a mobile field station for the collection and analysis of ambient atmospheric aerosol.
The AMS system should allow for fast and real-time, quantitative size resolved aerosol mass measurement for fine particulate matter with sizes in the nm size range up to 1 µm. It is of important that the AMS system allow for online and direct sampling of aerosols.
