II.1.4) Short description:

Assistant professor Marc Andersen from and on behalf of Interacting Minds Centre wants to purchase 6 mobile eye trackers + recording devices. The equipment will be used on children and adults in various experimental and observation-based setups. Because it can be very challenging to maintain concentration in children during calibration, it is essential that the equipment is calibration free. Similarly, because the equipment is going to be used in high-effort activities such as rough-and-tumble play it is important that the devices has great slippage compensation. Finally, the equipment will be used in the dark for some projects, which means that the eye tracker scene cams must be able to see in the dark.

Explanation:

Absence of competition due to technical reasons. The combination of requirements described are fulfilled exclusively by one supplier i. e. pupil labs. The eye trackers will be used in various projects where it is important that the devices are calibration free and thus can be used immediately after equipping.
