The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is preparing a tender regarding the acquisition of combined UHF and VHF Radios with Saturn support as well as an upgrade path to Saturn support for Danish Defence’s existing radios. However, as part of the preparation, DALO would like to gather information regarding the current market of combined UHF and VHF Radios with Saturn support in connection with structuring the future tender. The purpose of this request for information (RFI) is to understand how the best possible tender and contract can be arranged both for the Danish Defence and for the suppliers.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

DALO is planning to purchase combined UHF and VHF Radios with Saturn support. The expected volume is initially 50 radios with the possibility to increase to 200+ radios.

The radios DALO is seeking to replace are used for Air-Ground-Air secure voice communication. It is important for DALO that the radios are compliant with NATO STANAG 4372 concerning Anti-jamming UHF radios. Because the radios are used for secure voice they shall also support encryption.

DALO is interested in already implemented solutions in the marked witch can fulfil the purpose. It can either be a rack mounted or stand-a-lone solution.
