The general-purpose, multiuser scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy will be used as a multi-role instrument at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The microscope will be used by both students for routine imaging to guide their research, and for more advanced imaging for specialised applications.
