Department of biological and chemical engineering at Aarhus University wants to purchase three more modules of a LAMBDA Minifor Laboratory fermenter to increase the number of LAMBDA Minifor laboratory fermenters to four. A key aspect is to being able to run fermentation at volumes ranging from 35 mL to 6.5 L with the same system, and to be able to extent the system with additional individual/single modules in the future.

The Minifor Laboratory Fermenters must have the following specifications:

1) Must be fully integrated with the existing LAMBDA Minifor Laboratory Fermenter (hardware and software);

2) The system can be used for batch, fed-batch and continuous bacterial fermentation;

3) Must be able to run fermentation at volumes ranging from 35 mL to 6.5 L with the same system, and must be possible to extent with additional individual modules in the future;

4) Must be able to control pH, needs to allow for redox and/or oxygen sensors, needs to be able to run in anaerobic mode.
