The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) plans to tender a 4-year framework agreement for Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATR) in 2022. Before finalizing the procurement strategy DRD wants to get to know the potential suppliers on the market. Therefor DRD initiates this dialogue with potential suppliers about Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATR) to be used with existing inductive loop detectors for continues vehicle counting and classification. The purpose of the market dialogue is to get familiar with the supplier market and gather information for the procurement strategy. This is a written market dialogue where DRD has listed a series of questions within the following themes:

1) Presence in Denmark.

2) Development possibilities.

3) Quality.

4) IT platform.

5) Misc. technical issues.

DRD considers the response of this market to these themes and questions as very valuable and important input to determine the procurement strategy. The tender is expected to be announced in 2022.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

 

This market dialogue is a separate process from the upcoming tender which is expected to be announced in 2022. As a potential supplier you are not obliged to attend this dialogue if you plan to tender. Programme for the market dialogue:

1) Download the two documents for the market dialogue via this link: Ongoing tenders — Supplier Portal — Vejdirektoratet.dk

2) Read the two documents and answer the questions in ‘2. Automatic Traffic Recorders. Market Dialogue, Questions for Potential Suppliers’;

3) The answers must be submitted to aurh@vd.dk, with a copy to ddm@vd.dk no later than 30 June 2021. Submissions may be in Danish or English. Additional documentation may be submitted as attachment to the questionnaire, under the conditions that the answers in the questionnaire contain a clear cross-reference to attached documentation;

4) If DRD finds that there is a need for dialogue meetings, they will be held in the period from 20 September 2021 to 1 October 2021. DRD reserves the right to invite for dialogue meetings should there be a need for further clarification of answers or themes in the questionnaire. If DRD finds that there is a need for dialogue meetings, the numbers of meetings will be limited to 4-6 suppliers who will get an invitation. These suppliers will be selected based on their written answers in the questionnaire.
