The 3D Imaging Center at DTU wishes to extend the current DANFIX research infrastructure with a dedicated X-ray microtomographysystem based on propagation X-ray phase contrast.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

The instrument is planned to be used to characterize different types of biomaterials within health technology, food re-search and plant science but also for polymer based materials. The system shall be able to resolve microstructures down to a size 1 µm in 3D using the modalities propagation-based phase-contrast to supplement the in-house research on grating based phase contrast. The solution has to provide tomographic reconstructions for both absorption and phase retried data.
