Section II: Object
Acquisition of a Monolith RED/BLUE
The instrument will be located at the Copenhagen Center for Glycomics (CCG), University of Copenhagen in the Schjoldager group. We study how protein glycosylation impact biological function(s) and will use the Monolith to explore glycan-dependent biological interactions.
The Monolith is a microscale thermophoresis instrument. We will use the Monolith to study biological interactions in the context of glycans. The instrument will allow binding studies using low amounts of research material, under native conditions, in solution.
Section IV: Procedure
- The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason:
- protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights
Our planned research is dependent on Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) and Temperature Related Intensity Change (TRIC) technology to answer fundamental scientific questions relating to interactions between glycoproteins in solution.
NanoTemper is the only manufacturer of MST & TRIC Instruments for the determination of molecular interactions.
