II.1.4) Short description:

The Danish Ministry of Defence, Acquisition and Logistics Organization (hereafter DALO) is preparing a tender for a contract regarding a 1:1 mock-up of the F-35A model aircraft.

The mock-up shall look as realistic as possible both internally (cockpit) and externally, and visually (size) to be as close as possible to full size F-35A.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

DALO is acquiring a mock-up of the F-35A aircraft with Danish national markings.

It shall be possible to access the cockpit and to simulate the physical environment therein, including the ability to sit in the pilot seat within a realistic cockpit environment. The cockpit has to have a flight seat installed for visitors to sit in. Access shall be via ladder with a plateau.

DALO’s budget for this project is DKK 6,100,000. The amount is fixed.

As part of the description of the subject matter of the contract, DALO has presented a draft requirements specification, which gives more detailed description of the acquisition. DALO emphasizes that this document is only a preliminary draft for the use of this RFI, to illustrate DALO's expectations of how the description will be in the tender.

The RFI as well as the draft requirements specification can be found via the electronic tendering system, cf. the link in section I.3.
