The portable THz-Raman system functions based on a low-probability light scattering phenomena and allows to extract both unique structural and chemical information from the analyte. Here, it is mainly intended to serve as a laboratory alternative to synchrotron small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) in order to investigate structural and chemical changes of pharmaceutically relevant molecular entities within complex liquid matrices, including dissolution/digestive mediums and/or solvents and their mixtures.

The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason:
- absence of competition for technical reasons

Explanation:

THz-Raman domain (typically denoted -300 to 300 cm-1) encompasses structural information about the analyte that can be benefitial for their characterization. The high sensitivity of this technique largely originates from the high intrinsic scattering propensity that allows to obtain data comparable even to synchrotron SAXS (as evident by our previos works: 10.1021/acs.jpclett.9b00654 and 10.1021/acs.molpharmaceut.9b01149). However, this spectral range for dispersive systems is only accesible by using high effieciency holographic notch filters, where Coherent / Ondax provide the only module based system configuration that allows for a wide range of data collection (i.e., via probe, non-contact lens etc.) with high spectral resolution.
