Fast response Dual Tunable Diode Laser for fast analysis of CO2, N2O, CH4, CO, and COS con-concentrations in air.

The Dual Tunable Diode Laser measures the air concentrations of a multitude of gasses at the same time (N2O, CO, CH4, CO2, and COS), continuously at high sampling frequency (10 Hz) and precision at high volume sampling rates. The device will be the analytical core of a novel, tall tower multigas eddy covariance flux system for the continuous estimation of the atmospheric GHG ex-change at the landscape and city scales. The analyser is the only currently available commercial solution that meets the requirements of the research project.

The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason:
- absence of competition for technical reasons

Explanation:

The company Aerodyne is specialised in high precision atmospheric gas measurements at lowest noise ratios in ambient concentration levels. The company has a long tradition to collaborate with micrometeorologists and is leading in laser applications. We have tested one of their previous prod-ucts in an international intercomparison campaign and their product was highly superior to sensors of alternative suppliers. The low noise allows to measure at very low detection limits. This is im-portant to accurately measure small greenhouse gas fluxes. The combination of the five different gasses is unique. For these reason, this product is without alternative.
