II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

The detector must be installed in a retractable manner in one of the two available ports, as specified in requirement 23. When installed on our microscope the system must be able to be used to perform i) selected area electron diffraction experiments in a time resolved manner as well as ii) so-called four-dimensional scanning transmission electron microscopy (4D)-(STEM) experiments, i.e., enable the collection electron scattering patterns at each probe position during a STEM raster scan and output data in such manner that during post processing the specific scattering pattern can be linked to the probe position where it was collected
