II.1.2) Main CPV code
38000000 Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses)
II.1.3) Type of contract
Supplies
II.1.4) Short description:

We require a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system with autosampler to be integrated into our planned single-cell proteomic HPLC-MS (mass spectrometer) platform at Biomedicine, Aarhus University. This platform is part of the CellX single cell roadmap initiative and aims to provide proteomic analysis at the single-cell level for nationwide users, both in academia and industry. The HPLC needs to fulfil some mandatory requirements.

II.1.6) Information about lots
This contract is divided into lots: no
II.1.7) Total value of the procurement (excluding VAT)
Value excluding VAT: 720 757.17 DKK
II.2) Description
II.2.3) Place of performance
NUTS code: DK042 Østjylland
II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

1. The system must have a pressure range of up to 1500 bar to produce the excellent separation needed for single-cell proteomics (*)

2. The system must be able to run gradients down to 100 nl/min, to accommodate the low flow rate required for single-cell proteomics

3. The system must provide an ion free flow path, to avoid any contaminations especially for ultra-low amount of samples

4. The pump must have active flow control from 1 nl/min to 100 µl/min, that is adjustable in 1 nl increments, to accommodate the need for delicate adjustment of flow rates

5. Pump gradient delay volume contribution must be below 25 nl, to avoid excessive gradient delay

6. The autosampler must be able to stably control sample temperature between 4 and 40 degree Celsius

7. The injection principle of the autosampler must be in-line split loop (flow through needle) for high reproducibility injections with no sample loss

8. The autosampler must be able to offer a standard injection volume range of 0.01-25 µl and extendable up to 100 µl in 0,01 µl increments, to accommodate the wide range of sample concentrations for single-cell proteomics

9. Injection accuracy must fall within +/- 0.5% for a typical aqueous sample injection of 5 µl

10. The system must be able to run under the Xcalibur - based data system for instrument control and acquisition, to seamlessly integrate with an Orbitrap Tribrid Ascend (*) mass spectrometer
