Copenhagen Business Academy aims to enter into contract for the acquisition and operation of a Learning Management System (hereinafter LMS). 8 other academies are also covered by the contract, as they are entitled to join the contract, including acquisition and operation of the LMS, on the terms set out. The academies are: Københavns Erhvervsakademi, Erhvervsakademi Sjælland, Erhvervsakademi Dania, Erhvervsakademi MidtVest, Erhvervsakademi Sjælland, Erhvervsakademi SydVest, Erhvervsakademi Aarhus, Erhvervsakademiet Lillebælt, IBA, Københavns Erhvervsakademi.

The LMS software application shall cover the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of online as well as mixed-mode courses and training programs. The contract includes implementation, education and training as well as upgrades and support. The LMS has to integrate to the student administration system and support for Single Sign-on. It's a 4 year contract.

Copenhagen Business Academy (Cphbusiness) has charted the course for the organisation in ‘Strategy 2020 — Turning Knowledge into Value’. As part of achieving the targets Cphbusiness want to implement a new a highly intuitive, scalable, extensible cloud-based LMS. The LMS will help to achieve our ambition of being the best digitised educational institution in Denmark. It is essential that the solution can help Cphbusiness achieve its strategic goals within the pedagogical realm. Relevant focal points are the solution's support of: Working in teams, Working in a problem and Project-based manner, Co-creation (between students), Knowledge Sharing, Creating a Culture of Rich Feedback, Competency-based education and Transforming the Lecturer's role. Finally the LMS has to support Analytics (for personalised/deep learning, for early warnings, as a predicative measure).

The contract includes Operation, Support and Maintenance Services to the LMS.
