We are planning to buy a Newton 7.0 FT500 as replacement of a 12 year old PerkinElmer IVIS instrument owned by the department and used to service more than 100 independent users. The key - and therefore unique - factor is the f/0.70 aperture in the instrument, which no other company can provide.
