Proteomics Research Infrastructure (PRI) is a state of‐the‐art mass spectrometry (MS)‐based proteomics facility.

Founded on 1 July 2020, the new facility provides coordinated, proprietary client access to forerunner proteomic

technology, exceptional technical assistance, and streamlined bioinformatic data analysis for the local research

community.

PRI is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) and linked to the NNF Center for Protein Research at the

University of Copenhagen.

The SP100 is part of Seer’s Proteograph Product Suite ‐ an integrated solution consisting of consumables that

include Seer’s proprietary engineered nanoparticle panels, an automation instrument (the SP100), and software to

perform unbiased, deep proteomic analysis at scale in a matter of hours. The Proteomics Research Infrastructure (PRI)

already offers this kind of analysis to its broad user base and would like to purchase an additional SP100 instrument to

upscale it’s activities.

Explanation:

There is no commercial product available that compares to the Proteograph Product Suite enabling researchers

to assess the complexity of the (plasma) proteome as deeply, broadly, and rapidly. The Proteograph Product

Suite allows reproducible deep proteome analysis of any organism and can be applied to detect low abundant

proteins in various challenging sample types including blood plasma, CSF, and muscle.

SP100 Automation instrument and related methods may be covered by one or more of the following patents or

pending patent applications: 62/824,279; 62/824,284; PCT/US2020/024426; 62/883,107; PCT/US2020/044908; 62/993,948;

63/032,437; 63/054,089; 63/070,205.

This is an addition to an already existing instrument. This additional instrument will complement the set up already in place within the facility.
