Besides, AB3500XL and SeqStudioFlex are already tested and validated at DFI which makes implementation/validation of new

instrument shorter and low-cost.

There is already a SeqStudioFlex which has been tested and validated for use in crime cases. We cannot run samples on two different instruments due to downstream analysis of the results. An instrument from another vendor will always give different quantitative results. This will make a second validation and second analysis pipeline necessary.

All methods and analysis in crime cases are validated according to ISO 17025.
