The financial institutions in Denmark and the Danish Agency for Digitisation are collaborating on tendering the next generation national digital identity and signature solution in Denmark out to tender, in order to replace the current NemID solution. The solution will be used in both the private and the public sector. The solution is expected to consist of the following parts:

— Identification and authentication, including managing the lifecycle of identities and their credentials.

— Advanced electronic signature in order to support secure handling of electronic signing of documents/data.

— Client functionality to handle end-user functionality and use for log-in and signing.

— Certification Authority functionality in order to support the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in the solution.

— System integration functionality to ensure that all of the above functionalities can be customized and integrated into the surrounding system landscape.

With this prior information notice, potential dialogue parties are encouraged to request participation in the market dialogue for the described solution. The dialogue meetings are scheduled in the period Sept./Oct. 2016. Potential dialogue parties are requested to register their interest by sending an email to ndis@digst.dk by 15.8.2016 along with a brief description of experience with projects of similar nature within either the public, financial or similar sectors, as well as contact information to a reference person on the customer side. If a large number of participation requests is received, reservations are made to reduce the number of dialogue parties in the market dialogue. As a starting point the dialogue will be held in Danish. English can be offered upon request.
