Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is establishing a completely new test facility for testing large structures with focus on wind turbine blades. For this new facility DTU is in need of advanced static and fatigue testing solutions for 15 and 45 m wind turbine blades. The total contract value is fixed at 13 000 000 DKK, VAT not included. The contract value is inclusive of customs, duties and all expenses on the part of the contractor. The contract value also comprises the Tenderers fixed price products and services until the static and fatigue testing solutions are delivered, installed, tested and put into operation.

Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is establishing a completely new test facility for testing large structures with focus on wind turbine blades. The Danish Building and Property Agency (Bygningsstyrelsen) is building owner and finances the new building that will house the new test facilities, including reaction blocks and strong floor. The project includes a new 1 600 m2 hall with 3 test stands capable of testing 45m, 25m and 15m blades. Inside the test hall a staff building will be constructed. The staff building will be 2 stories high and will contain control room, workshop, depots, visitor centre and various service facilities. The new test facilities will focus on static and fatigue tests of wind turbine blades. The vision is to establish a unique facility of the highest international standard for research in strength and fatigue of wind turbine blades exposed to complex loading. New advanced test methods will be developed and the research will aim at establishing a better understanding of failure in these large structures. For this new facility DTU is in need of advanced static and fatigue testing solutions for 15 and 45 m wind turbine blades. The total contract value is fixed at 13 000 000 DKK, VAT not included. The contract value is inclusive of customs, duties and all expenses on the part of the contractor. The contract value also comprises the Tenderers fixed price products and services until the static and fatigue testing solutions are delivered, installed, tested and put into operation.
