DR is one of the biggest provider of streaming media in the Danish market. DR needs to meet the demands of peak events with the quality of experience that the Danish audience expects from its flagship public broadcaster. DRs present platform has big scalability, stability and 24-7 supportability. The audience is expecting this as they have already paid for the service through license fees. So it is very important for DR also in the future to have a platform with big scalability, stability and 24-7 supportability. The purpose of the present tender is to provide DR with a contract for services related to the delivery of DR's streaming services (including WEB CDN). Providers are asked to offer services or solutions covered in the scope of work is further described in Appendix 1 to the Contract.

Optional Services are, DDoS Protection and Live TV Event encoders meaning that DR may decide whether and when the option must be fulfilled within the duration of the Contract term.

According to the Danish Act on A Complaints Board for Public Procurement (Act number 492 of 12.5.2010 as amended by Act number 1556 of 21.12.2010, Act number 618 of 14.6.2011, Act number 1231 of 18.12.2012, Act number 511 of 27.5.2013, and Act number 1564 of 15.12.2015, the followinng time limits for submitting a complaint apply:
Complaints regarding a public procurement procedure must be submitted to the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement before 45 calendar days after the contracting authority has published a contract award notice in the European Union's official journal. The time limit runs from the day after the day, where the contract award notice was published.
The time limit for complaints is 20 calendar days from the day after the day where the contracting authority has informed about its decision according to Section 185 (2) in the Danish Act on Public Procurement regarding termination of a contract due to annulment of a contract award decision.
The plaintiff must inform the contracting authority in writing about a complaint and if the complaint is submitted in the standstill period, when the complaint is submitted to the Complaints Board. If the complaint is not submitted in the standstill period, the plaintiff must also inform whether the plaintiff has argued for suspensive effect of the complain.
