The radio equipment for communication between 2 unmanned aircraft and ground control station needs to be one common system. 1 aircraft is being delivered with Silvus Technologies radio system, while the other aircraft is not equipped with a radio system. The Silvus system complies with all requirements for a joint system, and therefore the acquisition of additional radios for the second aircraft and GCS of the same brand is less expensive than an alternative system. Silvus radios can only be acquired directly from the manufacturer.
