II.1.4) Short description:

DTU Physics is already running 2 UHV compatible gas-phase aggregation cluster source systems which has been very productive for the research at the department. We want to expand this area of research with an additional cluster source. The source must be fully UHV compatible and should have emphasize on performance at very small cluster sizes, since this is an area of increasing importance. To keep flexibility, the system must at the same time still be able to keep a good performance also at large cluster sizes.
