This means that the Information Security Management System (ISMS) shall ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, reduce the risk of security breaches, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as the GDPR etc. Furthermore, an ISMS helps improve your organisation's reputation by demonstrating an obligation to information security and increasing the effectiveness of security efforts through a structured approach that includes continual monitoring, evaluation and improvement of security measures.
