Market Dialogue about Managed Services on Cloud IT Infrastructure.
Energinet believes there is a market for managed services on Cloud. The objective of this RFI is to identify the market offerings and capabilities within managed services on Cloud IT infrastructure and related Cloud services, and also in order to determine vendor interest in a possible tender.
In 2016 Energinet launched the Program Next Generation Data Center (NGDC). One of the main focus areas in our Data Center and Sourcing Strategy is a desire to look at a way to outsource certain parts of the IT infrastructure and the associated operational services. Energinet has signed a contract with Microsoft with the purpose of hosting certain parts of the infrastructure in Microsoft's Cloud called Microsoft Azure. Energinet is now looking in the market for a highly professional sourcing partner being able to provide managed services on Azure infrastructure and functionalities.
Most services can be delivered remote, but some end user services will require onsite presence. Most of the users are located in Erritsø, Fredericia and Ballerup near to Copenhagen.
In particular, Energinet would like to know as to what extent:
— The market can provide technical skills and competences at a high level within the area;
— The market have well defined, mature and proven service management processes and a high degree of automation within managed services on Cloud;
