Acquisition of a IncuCyte to BRIC.
The live-cell analysis system — IncuCyte S3 — is a specialized instrument with broad utility in the evaluation of cell growth, cell changes and response to exogenous factors. This instrument has an important capacity to both have utility for analyzing attached (2D) (primary and established) cells as well as non-adherent cells (3D) such as organoid cultures. The machine is instrumental in ongoing/future screening setups (drug libraries, inhibitors, miRs etc.) as key technological update to the institutes high-throughput screening (HTS) facility. Additional, this instrument is instrumental in evaluation of the individual/library-based role of altering targets in cells with real-time kinetic data (e.g., CRISPR/cas genome editing).
The IncuCyte automatically acquires and analyzes images around the clock, providing an information-rich analysis that is easy to achieve with assays for cell health/growth or more complex processes like migration, invasion, or immune cell killing,
