The Danish Geodata Agency (Geodatastyrelsen) as a maritime authority has the responsibility for surveying and nautical chart production in Danish & Greenlandic waters. In order to improve its productivity, the Danish Geodata Agency has the need to acquire a new Depth Data Management System for the Hydrographic Office.

Efficient management of the depth database will optimize the production chain from data acquisition to chart production, with a significant benefit for the agency and the maritime community. Therefore, we are looking for a commercial off-the-shelf database and software package which provides a solution for:

— secure storage of Depth Data,

— efficient management of Depth Data (including quality control),

— effectively display bathymetric data and allow for the query of metadata,

— deliver relevant derived products for maritime chart production and external costumers amongst others.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Preceding the procurement process for the purchase of the system, Danish Geodata Agency would like to invite interested companies to participate in a market dialogue session, where it would be possible to show and demonstrate existing software and proposed implementation and migration strategies.

Live appointments or video presentations can be booked between 5 and 9 of March 2018. The opening for the booking of presentations will begin when this announcement is publicized, and until the 2. of March.

Presentations can last a maximum of 4 hours and should follow the following agenda:

1) Presentation of the solution;

2) Implementation - methods;

3) Strategies for data migration;

4) Demo of the process “data in-data out”
