Procurement of an Integrated Asset Management System: Invitation to participate in Preliminary Market Dialogue
The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) wish to purchase a commercial integrated asset management system.
The tender is expected to be published approximately mid june 2019, but before this the DRD wish to initiate a preliminary technical dialogue with potential bidders. Read more below in II.2.4) and VI.3).
The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) is responsible for the planning, the operation, the development and the maintenance of the Danish national road network consisting of 3 700 kilometers of roads and 2 500 structures. The purpose of asset management is to maintain the invested capital where an efficient process require a well supporting it-system. DRD intends to carry through a tender with the objective to procure a new integrated asset management system as a substitution of the current self developed systems. The long term target for the new system is the asset management of all assets but the coming tender will only focus on roads and structures. This means that DRD wish to purchase a commercial standard system system, preferable as a SaaS solution, for these types of assets and adapt the system to the Danish conditions. The DRD estimates that the contract will have a value of 15-25 000 000 DDK.
In order to be able to plan an efficient process and draft suitable tender documents including a draft contract, the DRD wish to get input from potential bidders before the publishing of the tender. This will be done through a preliminary technical dialogue.

Before publishing the tender, the DRD wish to get more knowledge of:
1) What the relevant market can offer in regards to asset management systems capable of meeting the needs described in II.2.4); and
2) How make to make the most optimal tender documents with relevant, realistic and proportional requirements for this purpose the DRD has published a questionnaire containing a number of questions on what the market can offer in regards to asset management systems and wish to invite all interested parties to fill it out and send it to the contact person (Katrine Søborg Høyer, kash@vd.dk). After receiving the market's input, the DRD will evaluate whether it's necessary to go into further dialogue e.g. in the form of a new questionnaire or by inviting a number of potential bidders to short dialogue meetings.

The DRD will be gratefull for all the input the market is able to contribute with. It would be preferred if filled in questionnaires are received on 23/04-2019 at the latest. If this is not possible, filled in questionnaires are still welcome, but it might not be possible to incorporate the input in the tender documents or otherwise take it into account.
