The instrument will with its multiple sample-loading options provide a possibility to analyse 5 000 human bone samples. With a vacuum chamber and a filterwheel mounted on the radiation outlet it can provide element contents both in the light and the heavy element ranges for analysis of bone quality as well as heavy metal pollutions in the early civilizations history.

The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason:
- absence of competition for technical reasons

Explanation:

The Bruker S2 Puma is an unique instrument due to the fact that it contains all the following necessary functions in one single instrument: a multiple sample loading option for analysis of a large number of samples, automated filterwheel for simultaneous analysis of both light and heavy elements, vacuum champer for enhanced light element detection, beam collimator for small spot sizes so small samples can be analyzed. In addition, the Bruker instrument is the only instrument of this type that is equipped with a 4K multi channel analyser providing a better peak identifications.
