    • absence of competition for technical reasons
Explanation:

The Covaris LE220 plus system is highly innovative ultrasound system for biological samples for efficient protein extraction from tissues and cell lines in a streamlined manner (96 well format). It operates in-line with our specific mass spectrometry-based workflows and is tailored to our pre-processing, input amounts, enrichment needs and post-processing steps. We have tested this specific platform extensively in our sister laboratory at Max Planck institute for biochemistry, Munich. Using our materials and setup, we can now prepared hundreds of biological and clinical samples in a highly streamlined manner (data not shown). We want to mirror, end expand, these results at CPR in Copenhagen.

This is novel commercial product which provides unique technology for identification of post-translational modifications.
