The University Hospital of Zealand plan to announce a tender for: supply and goods reception and dispatch system (varemodtagelse).

Receiving carts and trolleys delivered by truck and unloaded, automatically moving these carts and trolleys from ground floor to basement for distribution.

The tender is a part of several future acquisitions related to internal logistics at the future University Hospital of Zealand, Køge, which is currently under construction.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Background:

The regions in Denmark are building several new hospitals over the next years. The goal is better and more coherent patient care, increased patient safety, efficiency and higher quality.

Region Zealand builds Denmark's fifth university hospital and new main hospital for Region Zealand. The University Hospital of Zealand receives 789 single beds for single wards and will be 185 000 m2, of which approximately 130 000 m2 is newly built and approximately 54 000 m2 are existing hospital facilities, which are presumed to be preserved.

The region's vision is to create a coherent context for patients' treatment processes and to ensure a flexible and future-proof framework for the hospital services in Region Zealand. The University Hospital of Zealand must contribute to this.

The project in Køge consists of several construction projects and this tender is part of TE04, Goods receipt and small pharmacy unit.

This contract:

Internal logistics at the future The University Hospital of Zealand, Køge consists of multiple main elements and contained in this contract is:

1) Supply and goods reception and dispatch system:

(a) receiving carts and trolleys delivered by truck and unloaded, automatically moving these carts and trolleys from ground floor to basement for distribution around the hospital;

(b) returning to the central and dispatching of return supply and goods.
