The BioLector II is an instrument that we intend to use as part of a high-throughput fermentation platform. This system will fill the gap between microtiter-based assays and larger bioreactor-experiments and will be invaluable for screening of e.g. starter culture candidates, bioactive compounds incl. carbohydrates/cell wall components and other plant constituents.

Explanation:

The BioLector II from m2p-labs

Is the only bench top microbioreactor on the market with unique functions enabling simultaneous measurements of biomass, pH, dissolved oxygen, and fluorescent molecules, as well as enabling control of temperature, humidity, and gas atmosphere, during a fermentation.

M2p-labs was granted a patent by the European Patent Office on 17.42018 for the specific microtiter-plate device used in the BioLector II. m2p-labs is marketing this device under the trademark FlowerPlate®.
