Explanation:

Picturae has developed a unique pipeline (including specialized software and workflows) for digitizing herbarium collections — the one-of-a-kind ‘herbarium digistreet’ method. Picturea has processed over 10 000 000 herbarium sheets from some of the world’s largest and oldest herbarium collections, and have been considered the most innovative company in the world for the digitization of delicate natural history specimens. Their specialized equipment and extensive experience make their services truly unique.

Picturae has extensive experience handling and imaging priceless natural and cultural history museum objects. They have also digitized 30 000 herbarium specimens from the Natural History Museum of Denmark (SNM), and SNM can attest that they provide the highest possible standards in specimen care and customer service. Based on prior contracts with Picturae, SNM fully trusts that their irreplaceable specimens will be given the best care and treatment during the digitization process.
