This notice concerns the upcoming technical dialogue, which will be conducted by the Public Transport Authority Movia, in Q2 of 2020. This is the first official step on the road to an upcoming tender and acquisition of a new transport management system to solve tasks related to the planning, execution and monitoring of bus service in east Denmark.

As for now, the strategy is to acquire a well-proven standard solution or equivalent that supports the business needs. It is expected that the standard solution will need some customization including customized API’s, as well as possibly a Danish user interface. The solution is also expected to integrate with both Movias own systems and third party solutions.

Movia has not yet decided whether the procurement material will be published in Danish or in English, as this will depend on the market and on internal considerations.

The purpose with the dialogue is for Movia to gain a deeper insight into the market for TMS solutions, including the scope of these solutions in relation to Movias business needs. The purpose is also to provide the market with information about the upcoming tender and project in Movia, in order to mobilize interest and to allow for preparation.

Companies that have an interest in participating in the dialogue must submit a request for participation through Mercell, using the communication function. Please see further information in the file in Mercell regarding requests.

The deadline for submitting request to participate in the technical dialogue expires 8 May 2020. A limited number of companies will be invited to participate. Movia will invite the companies that in combination are considered to be representative of the market for this type of business needs. Companies will receive answers to their requests by 11 May 2020.

The dialogue meetings will be held in week 20 (11.05 to 15.05) and week 22 (25.05 to 29.05) in agree-ment with the individual participants.
