II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Denmark, Central Region is building a new hospital pharmacy on the same location as Aarhus University Hospital. The new hospital pharmacy is expected to be in operation October 2023.

The Hospital Pharmacy requires an automated dispenser solution with technology to load, store and dispense medicine packs inclusive software and conveyor. The Hospital Pharmacy is planning to implement two automated dispenser solutions: one for medicine packs stored at room temperature (15-25 °C) and one for medicine packs stored refrigerated (2-8 °C). The new hospital pharmacy will be equipped with a cooled storage room in which the automated dispenser solutions has to be installed. To avoid exclusion of automated dispenser solutions due to inadequate requirements, central region, Denmark has chosen to host a dialogue for potential tenders.

The Hospital Pharmacy has the following minimum requirements for the automated dispenser solution:

• a storage capacity of minimum:

100 000 packs stored at room temperature

20 000 packs stored refrigerated.

• handle an average daily output of approx.:

5 300 packs, with peak days of 12 700 packs at room temperature

1 600 packs, with peak days of 2 600 packs stored refrigerated.

• The system footprint must fit into the following rooms:

Room temperature storage: 225 m2. Max. height of system: 4.7 meters

Cooled storage room: 100 m2. Max. height of system: 2.5 meters.

The actual room layout and dimension has not yet been determined in the new pharmacy building.

• a fully automatic in loading solution

• compliant with the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)

• must interface with the Pharmacy Information System (Apovision, based on Dynamics NAV17).

The hospital pharmacy wants a video demonstration of the automated dispenser solution technology and a walk through of the specifications in order to prepare the best tender. Especially specification and flow for the automated dispenser solution for medicine packs stores refrigerated is wanted.
