Procurement of a New IT Solution (TRACÉ) for the Danish Road Directorate’s Traffic Centre
The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) is in the process of identifying how to purchase a new IT solution (TRACÉ) for the DRD Traffic Centre. TRACÉ will replace an existing solution used in the Traffic Centre. The new solution shall continue to serve the existing needs of the Traffic Centre which includes:
1) Monitoring and overview of traffic;
2) Processing of information and management of both planned and unplanned incidents including the collaboration with other actors such as emergency services;
3) Provision of traffic information;
4) Collection of data for documentation;
5) Map and digital road network;
6) Integration within the DRD IT environment.
It is the aim of the project to achieve a more effective and automatic workflow in the Traffic Centre than is possible with the existing solution.
The purpose of this market dialogue (RFI) is to initiate a dialogue with potential suppliers. This dialog is intended to help DRD in identifying potential suppliers of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products who can satisfy all the needs or parts of the needs of the Traffic Centre in the DRD. This is a separate process from a potential tender which is expected to take place in 2021. To participate in this dialogue about the TRACÉ IT solution you must download the two documents

The first document provides you with information about the process of the market dialogue and enough information about the IT solution to answer the questions in document 2. Submit document 2 with your answers to DDM@vd.dk and MIEN@vd.dk no later than 14 September 2020 at 12.00. For a brief summary of the process, see VI.3.
The purpose of this market dialogue (RFI) is for the DRD to get to know of existing commercial off-the-shelf solutions (COTS products) that may be able to fulfil all or some of the expected requirements for the TRACÉ solution. This market dialogue is a separate process from the tender, which will take place in 2021.
