DALO intends to tender the delivery and repair of:

— CCTWTs compatible with the TWTAs in use in the Danish Defence’s SCANTER 4000/4100 systems;

— TWTAs compatible with the SCANTER 4000/4100 radar systems.

II.2.14) Additional information

The Danish Defence uses the SCANTER 4000 and SCANTER 4100 surveillance radar systems, for air and sea surveillance.

— SCANTER 4000/4100 is a coherent radar system providing surface and air surveillance;

— SCANTER 4000 system is for stationary applications;

— SCANTER 4100 radar system is for use on a moving platform, e.g. a vessel.

DALO will use this Request for Information (RFI) to get an overview of the market for spare parts, to find out what the market can offer specifically with regards to:

— Coupled Cavity Travelling Wave Tubes (CCTWTs); and

— Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs).

For the SCANTER 4000/4100 radar systems.

DALO is also looking for information on how to structure the tender. The purpose of the RFI is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the suppliers.

DALO encourages potential bidders to download, fill out and submit the request for information (RFI) document through Ethics Sourcing Services’ Web Portal (link in section I.3)) no later than 14 January 2021.
