DTU Energy invites tenders for a new experimental facility (E-MAT) to be established. The aim is the preparation of surfaces, thin films and interfaces, relevant for functional energy materials. It will be a system of interconnected inert atmosphere (argon) gloveboxes, housing a range of state of the art equipment.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

DTU Energy invites tenders for a new experimental facility (E-MAT) to be established. The aim is the preparation of surfaces, thin films and interfaces, relevant for functional energy materials. It will be a system of interconnected inert atmosphere (argon) gloveboxes, housing a range of state of the art equipment.

A plan of the available floor area is in Appendix 3. Tenderers are welcome to request more details and/or visit the site. If tenderer wishes to visit the site, please request through EU-Supply.

In Appendix 1: requirement specification — the term ‘System’ is taken to mean the full system, while the term ‘Equipment’ is taken to mean a single piece of equipment housed within the system.

The total budget for the full system is DKK 30 000 000.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:

If DTU receives more than 3 requests for participation, DTU will invite 3 candidates to submit tenders.

The pre-qualified candidates must then prepare their tender before the deadline for submission of tenders.

Selection of candidates will be based on an overall assessment of the references, which the candidates have provided in connection with fulfilment of minimum requirements for suitability.

Candidates with the best and most relevant references in relation to the specific agreement, will be selected. The candidate can describe up to 5 references, which DTU will assess.

DTU will among other things give weight to the following parameters, when assessing the relevance of the references:

— contract value for the reference (the higher contract value, the better reference);

— previous agreements with universities;

— age of reference (the newer the reference, the better).

III.1.3) Technical and professional ability
List and brief description of selection criteria:

Comparable agreements mean agreements concerning glovebox assemblies or a comparable agreement. The agreement, to which the reference refers, must not be more than 5 year olds. The date is calculated from the last signature on the agreement referred to.

The candidate/tenderer should give the following information for each reference:

— name of the contracting party;

— time of execution, including if the task has been completed;

— short description of the delivery and comparability to this procurement;

— contract value.

The candidate/tenderer can attach references for comparable contracts in a separate document. Each reference should be maximum 2 A4-pages. If the candidate/tenderer attaches more than 2 references, DTU will only consider the first 2 references.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required:

As a minimum the tenderer must provide 2 references for comparable agreements.

DTU will only consider the first 2 references.
