Aarhus University puts out to tender the purchase of a klystron modulator and an electron gun modulator for an existing microtron accelerator.

The set of modulators is to replace existing, ageing, equipment, thus improving system performance, reliability and overall beam availability of the ASTRID2 synchrotron light source facility operated by ISA (Centre for Storage Ring Facilities), Aarhus University.

The Tenderer must provide three (3) successful references where a similar klystron modulator has been installed in the last five (5) years from the tender deadline within the area covered by the tender. By similar klystron modulator, the Contracting Authority means a pulsed solid state modulator suitable for a klystron with a ~5 us pulse length and a few MW of peak RF output power.

The references must include as a minimum:

 A description of the delivered and installed system

 Indication of when the system was installed

 Contact information to a contact person at the reference- Organization Name, Title, E-mail, Phone number.
