II.1.4) Short description:

2 of the regional entities in the Danish TV 2 network, TV2 Nord and TV2 Østjylland (hereinafter referred to as TV2) calls for the supply of a Story-telling and Publishing system in accordance with the attached tender documents. The tender will be carried through as a restricted procedure, cf. Sections 58-60 of the Public Procurement Act.

About the 2 regional stations.

— 2 of 8 regional media facilities / TV stations in the TV 2 Danmark A/S family,

— each region operates on separate terms with own Board of Directors and own Management teams,

— 100% Government owned,

— financed via license fees,

— broadcasting regionally via TV 2 Danmark's main channel (TV 2) and via own 24 h TV channel outputs as well as Social Media platforms,

— public service obligations,

— regulations stipulate TV 2 regions to primarily produce news content.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Project Vision:

— the new system enables us to deliver our content to the platforms of our customers choice — at the time they choose,

— we want to change the mindset of the user and the way we tell stories — moving away from the rundown based newsroom system to a publishing system, to where we can create stories and easily publish to multiple platforms, branded and formatted to fit the specific platform.Our vision is to have 1 overall system — 1 publishing tool — to handle all publications to all current and future platforms, both live and on-demand.

We envision a system with 1 common interface for all types of users, handling everything from live ingest, file ingest, harvest of data-assets, asset management, script creation and editing, rundown creation, editing and execution, output formatting to different platforms and much more.

TV2's current systems are not fulfilling the requirements of today and are reaching end of life. The new systems must be in full operation at TV2 Østjylland in October or November 2018 and at TV2 Nord early 2019.
