Purchase of a 300 kV Cryo-Transmission Electron Microscope Equipped with Energy Filter and Direct Electron Detector
The main aim of the purchase of a 300 kV cryo-transmission electron microscope equipped with direct electron detector is to increase the production capacity of the National Cryo-EM facility (EMBION) at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO), Aarhus University in order to meet the increasing demand for biomolecular single-particle cryo-EM studies and for cryo-tomography studies.

The main aim of the purchase of a 300 kV cryo-transmission electron microscope equipped with direct electron detector is to increase the production capacity of the National Cryo-EM facility (EMBION) at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO), Aarhus University in order to meet the increasing demand for biomolecular single-particle cryo-EM studies and for cryo-tomography studies.
A detailed description of the 300 kV cryo-transmission electron microscope equipped with an energy filter and direct electron detector desired, including the minimum requirements of the 300 kV cryo-transmission electron microscope equipped with an energy filter and direct electron detector must meet the specifications provided in Appendix 1 — Specification of Requirements as well as any corrections and answers to questions. The Contracting Authority has a budget of 23 700 000 DKK (excluding the value of the service contract) to purchase the 300 kV cryo-transmission electron microscope equipped with direct electron detector.
A full service contract for 3 years.

There is no requirements for economic and financial standing.
References, where a similar 300 kV transmission electron microscope equipped with energy filter and direct electron detector has been installed in the last three (3) years within the area covered by the tender.
The tenderer must provide two (2) successful references where a similar 300 kV transmission electron microscope equipped with energy filter and direct electron detector has been installed in the last three (3) years within the area covered by the tender.
By similar electron microscope equipped with energy filter and direct electron detector, the Contracting Authority means the same 300 kV transmission electron microscope equipped energy filter and with direct electron detector model covered by the tender.
The references must include as a minimum:
— a description of the delivered and installed system,
— indication of when the system was installed,
— contact information to a contact person at the reference,
— organization name, title, email, phone number.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to verify the references.

Appeals regarding the award of the contract must be received by the Complaints Board for Public Procurement 45 days from the day following date of the publication of the Contracting Authority's notice in the Official Journal of the European Union that the Contracting Authority has entered into a contract.
The Contracting Authority must hold a mandatory standstill period of 10 or 15 calendar days from the day following the day on which the Contracting Authority forwarded a notice to the tenderers regarding the contract award.
If the notification has been made by electronic means (email), the Contracting Authority shall at the earliest enter into a contract after the expiry of a standstill period of 10 calendar days.
If the notification has been sent by email, the Contracting Authority shall at the earliest enter into the contract after 15 calendar days.
If the appeal is received by the Complaints Board for Public Procurement before the expiry of the standstill period, the appeal will automatically have temporary suspensive effect until the Complaints Board for Public Procurement has taken a decision on whether the appeal should have suspensive effect or not.
At the latest concurrently with submission of an appeal to the Complaints Board for Public Procurement, the complainant must inform the Contracting Authority of the alleged infringement, and whether the appeal is to be referred to the board.
